Greg Moure, owner & operator of Giepers Studios based in Whittier, CA. pronounced “G-pers” tells his stories by capturing moments in time. Reflections of life, forever marking past and present. Greg is trapped in the world of photography; it’s in his blood, in his soul, his passion, his addiction.

Training & Equipment:

Greg is classically trained by a 30 year master photographer working Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and San Francisco in portrait & commercial photography using a Mamiya, C330, M645, and Greg’s favorite the grandmaster of medium format cameras, the Mamiya RZ67 Pro II. Greg still loves to shoot film using traditional medium format, 35mm, as well as state of the art Canon professional series digital cameras.

Natural infusion:

Focusing on that innate sense of what makes a timeless, beautiful and intriguing photograph is a product of Greg’s technical ability, years of experience, training and a well equipped studio with excellent friendly staff. The most elusive qualities to find in a photographer are soul, taste and a great eye. Photography should capture the true substance of you, and will do it with style, and a sense for timeless beauty. It will capture what you actually feel and experience. Greg’s approach is to infuse what's naturally happening and let you express yourself, coupled with his eye and instruction. Photography is documentation with a vibrant infusion of fashion, glamour, fine art, light and science. Greg relies on instinct, and his devout passion to envision the meaning and possibilities.

While many professional photographers create images in one realm of photography, Greg has been able to transverse the medium through a variety of photographic styles. Greg undertakes photography for a wide range of clients including fashion, print models, magazines, catalogues, manufacturers, websites, retailers and many others. Despite the demand of the business, Greg has continued to drive his photography, post production and design skills with the relentless enthusiasm that you would expect from a professional photographer.
